Unlimited Cell Phone Plans

Who Has Unlimited Data Plans?

There has been lots of talk about unlimited data plans coming to an end. In fact, Verizon Wireless and AT&T no longer offer these plans to new customers. So you might ask, who has unlimited data plans still? What is the cheapest unlimited data plan? What is the best cell phone data plan? Before we get started, there are also a few other things you need to consider. First of all, there is a huge difference between 3G and 4G speeds. Secondly, there is a big difference in the prices you might pay to attain what you are looking for. Finally, some providers make you sign a two year contract, and some offer you pay as you go phone service. Now we will get to the topic at hand. First we will review the postpaid or contract providers.

Sprint offers perhaps the only truly unlimited 4G data plan in this space. Not only do you get unlimited web access, you also don’t have your connection speeds slowed down after a certain amount of usage. They have a couple different sets of service rates. They have both Simply Everything and they their Everything Data plans. The Simply Everything service offers you everything in the all you can eat variety. The Everything Data plans offer you any mobile anytime, plus everything else with a smaller bucket of minutes for talking to people not on mobile phones. With this service, you can also get some of the top Android, Windows Mobile, and even the iPhone.

T-Mobile has the cheapest postpaid service with endless web access. However, after 2GB of data, they slow down your service. There are some things you can do to help avoid this though. You can tie into your own wireless web access when you are at home, limiting how much data you will use. This will work as long as you have a wireless modem or router. While T-Mobile doesn’t have the iPhone, they do have several high end Android and Windows Mobile choices. They also have the best prices for those savvy customers who are on a tight budget.

Now we will take a look at the pay as you go options available. While I am not going to review them, I will mention some of the more popular options out there. I want to mention Straight Talk from Walmart, Virgin Mobile, and Net 10. Each of these offers unlimited data with price points on the plans starting as low as $35 per month, going up to $50 per month before taxes. Some plans have no cap on minutes while others give you a bucket of minutes to use. Now, I think we should answer the question, what is unlimited data? Simply put, it is an endless use of mobile web services without additional fees above the stated rates. It could be 3G or 4G, so that is something you might need to look into.
